Our mission is to assist adults & older youth facing serious barriers to employment by providing job training & other supportive services that will result in:

  • Decreased Welfare Dependency

Who we serve:

  • Veterans - priority of service

  • Unemployed

  • Underemployed

  • Tribal Internship (College Juniors & Seniors)

  • Vocational Trades (3-4 months from graduating)

  • Laid off

  • Offenders

  • Self services/Job Resources

  • Cash Assistance recipients/Referrals from DES

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Unemployed – (More than 7 working days)
  • Economically disadvantaged
  • Registered with Selective services – (Required for all males between the ages of 18-26 years old)
  • Certificate of Indian Blood or Tribal ID
  • Past 6 months income
  • Proof of residency

 

The Goal is Credentials & Employment


Career Counseling: Consists of ongoing case management to ensure each client is on track with their self developed career plan & to address barriers as they occur

Assessment: Interest, aptitude & academic test are given to ensure that the proper career direction is chosen by the participant

Job Club: Participants meet weekly to job search

Classroom Training: Provides short term training (less than a year) for those who are in need of specialized post secondary training to learn new trades or skills to secure employment
